PayerGroups tab PayerGroups are insurance payers to whom claims will be billed.  They are identified as Groups because each may contain information for several different payer insurance plans.  Information can be entered here which would apply to all Payer Plans that belong to this Payer Group.

10. PayerPlans tab Payer Plans are the distinct Payer Plans with mailing addresses, contact information etc.  Each Payer Plan must be belong to a Paper Group.
